This motors unique dual counter-weight produces a G force of 0.95 . To obtain maximum G force, an oversized counter-weight is used. The diameter of the counter weights is larger than the diameter of the motor body, and it will be necessary to make 2 small rectangular holes in the PCB directly under the motors counter-weights. See the PCB foot print in the drawing below for details. We do make a version (VZ30C1T9870089L) that uses counter-weights that have have a slightly smaller turn radius ( 1.7 mm) and cutting holes in the PCB will not be required. It does however produce a lower vibration G force of 0.8 Grms. These SMD vibration motors are supplied on tape / reels of 1000 pcs and is designed specifically for use with pick and place machines. Care must be taken to follow the reflow temperature profile. Do not expose SMD reflow vibration motors to liquids. This includes flux washes and conformal coatings.
